About This Blog

Free Kindle Books and Tips has a really simple purpose: I provide a quick summary of the daily free book offerings from Amazon as well as the thousands upon thousands of books, short stories, and more available for you to read on your Kindle for no charge from numerous sites in addition to Amazon.   This blog also gives you the insider tips, tricks, and information you need to impress your Kindle friends with your new-found tips, and save a little of your valuable time!

A lot of folks think this blog is an invaluable tool, but don’t just take my word for it: the Free Kindle Books and Tips blog has been ranked the #1 blog (in terms of paid subscriptions) in the Amazon Kindle store since 2010, and is consistently ranked in the Top 100 for all Kindle titles – books, newspapers, and blogs combined – every day of the week, week in and week out.

Since you’re reading the blog on the web, you don’t have to pay for anything – reading the blog is free, to keep in line with the theme of free Kindle book offers.  Take a look around, read a few of the tips to maximize the use of your Kindle, and tell a few of your Kindle-owning friends about the site and let them take advantage of the free Kindle book offers, also.

While you’re here, why not sign up to receive immediate notifications of our posts by either an email subscription or via an RSS feed?  You can see the signup buttons for both of those options on the right-hand side of the web page and, while you’re looking in that direction you can smack the Facebook or Twitter icons and follow the blog that way, too.  Just give the Facebook page a “Like” if you visit it, or give the Twitter page a “Follow” command if you can!

So, who writes all of these posts to the blog?  A gray-haired guy in Texas named Michael Gallagher.  Michael is the author of several bestselling Kindle “how-to” guides, and his title Free Kindle Books and How to Find Them has been the #1 Kindle reference guide for over two years, garnering #53 and #72 on the Top 100 Kindle bestseller lists in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

You can check out Michael’s best-selling Kindle titles in the Amazon Kindle store if you click here – he would really appreciate it if you bought a couple of them as he needs all the help he can get to put food on the table!!

Order A Kindle

Here are the four new Kindles announced in September 2011:

Read The Blog On Your Kindle

Since most people read my blogs on their Kindles maybe you would like to give it a try, too.  Amazon allows you to check each blog out for free on your Kindle for a two-week period, and you can cancel within that two-week period at any time with no cost to you.  There are quite a few blogs out there I think are pretty interesting, and I subscribe to a few myself.

Don’t have a Kindle?  Well, you should get one!  They range in price from $79 – $379 depending upon the number of bells and whistles you get.  You can click here to give the kind of Kindle I use a look.

Here are my six blogs in the Kindle format:
